Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 8 (UNI) A pilot of a Cessna training flight was rescued by an Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team soon after the flight veered off the runway at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport here on Wednesday. The Cessna flight 172R of the Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy veered off while taking off from Runway 32 between taxiways B and C at 11.36 hrs. The pilot was immediately rescued by the ARFF team within minutes of the incident. Runway operations were safely resumed at 12.36 hrs. The pilot was shifted to the Ananthapuri Hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
